Expecting a new arrival soon? The Library has available New Sibling and First Baby Kits. Books and materials in the New Sibling Kits are designed and selected to help children with their new roles of big sister or big brother for the new baby sibling coming their way. First Baby Kits contain a selection of parenting books and materials that point new parents to a variety of other valuable parenting resources. Both kits are sponsored by Washington County Cooperative Library Services.
Pass to Adventure At the Cornelius Library
Imagine being able to check out free one-day passes to a variety
of Portland-area cultural sites from your local public library.
The Cornelius Library Board is currently planning for just such
a program.
The board envisions a program based on the Tualatin City Library's
very popular Pass to Adventure. Tualatin's program is
a partnership between the cultural sites, local sponsors, and the
library. Sponsors donate funds for the purchase of the yearly
passes. In return, sponsors' names are listed in the program's
promotional materials on the passes' packaging.
